i want to start a webcomic but we all know i'm not NEARLY as organized as i would need to be for that. and also, i've drawn like one thing in the past almost-year since starting my newest job. but more frankly, i don't want to necessarily do This (day job) forever... i just also have the disease where i get interested in new hobbies constantly, and one existence doesn't feel big enough to hold all of them.

conversely, i can also think and plan myself to death and never have anything to show for it, so there's also merit in Starting Anyway, but... but. i would want to do it justice. or maybe, if i was smart, start with a smaller project that means less to me that still helps me knock the rust off. i am so far below the skill level i want to be in many creative endeavors, but i Know i won't get better just dreaming about it, so?

Would it be worth trialling a short comic of 8 pages? Or single strip comics? Just to get a feel and play around a bit.

i'm definitely feeling something out along those lines! i also have very limited experience with. Uh, Comics, which makes this very funny on a certain level. but a trial project (or several) is probably the way to go for sure!
